[Maryland] Decent place to paint my 92 RS?

I went to Classic Auto Body Repair INC in Waldorf to ask for a quote to get my Camaro painted black. They said they would do it for $7,500.00 but the job would not include the door jams and other things like that. I think they were asking a bit too much for a single car to be painted black. Does anyone have a place they would recommend to get their Camaro painted that wouldn't be incredibly overpriced and is not Maaco? I am willing to drive into Northern VA and within about 50 miles of 20678. Thanks!

I second this question. I live in Haymarket Virginia and I am looking for someone to paint my nose cone, bumper, spoiler, and trunk.

I am in the process of getting estimates as we speak. If I find some prospects I will let you know.

I found a place in Manassas called exhibit custom auto body. The prices seem reasonable. But I’ll let you know if I decide to use them and how the job goes.

Thank you! Do you mind if I ask you what they quoted you?

Sorry, just saw this. They quoted me only 600 bucks. I received a call today and they said it should be done on Monday. Apparently, it was a little more involved than they thought so I’m probably gonna give them a couple bucks more if everything looks really good.

I am really happy with the paint job. Keep in mind they only painted the front nose cone, rear bumper, and new spoiler. Considering how old the original paint was I’m happy with the color match.

The paint work is really good with no sags or runs. Some of the lines where the black paint for the fog lights meets the white bumper could’ve been crisper. But I use this car is a semi-daily and she has her fair share of nicks and dings. So, I was never looking for the Fantomworks (Where the owner Daniel Short keeps insulting me and my car) paint job😆

They originally quoted me 600 bucks with me doing 95% of the prep (sanding and filling the holes in the trunk from removing the old spoiler ). They called me last week to give me a progress update and let me know that the body parts I secured had multiple coats of paint that needed to be removed. They also said that They would need to buff the old original paint sections to help at match.I suspect they would have done the job for the original quoted price.

But I know I have 0% experience and prepping body parts for paint. And I wanted a good job so I volunteered to pay them a grand (FYI they did not ask ) which is what I originally thought I would be paying.
