88 9 bolt to 97 10 bolt, brake questions upgrade questions...

Getting close to finishing my ls swap and I’ve currently got most all brake parts off the car and plan to replace my worn out factory disc 9 bolt with a 10 bolt from a 97 formula.

I’ve searched and most of what I find is info on the ls1 brake upgrade which I’m not interested in doing. I know that the later 3rd gen brakes were differentfrom earlier and from what I’ve gathered they are the same as the lt1 cars and are referred to as pbr brakes. Is there no modification required to switch to the lt1 brake setup in my 88? I plan on buying all 4 new calipers and rotors and either go pbr or factory 3rd gen. Even if I go back to factory 3rd gen I’m unsure of what’s needed going from 9 bolt to 10.

Also with my 88 I had an issue with the rear brakes rattling over bumps. From what I understand the rear brakes require adjusting by engaging the parking brake? The previous owner had cut my parking brake so I never got to attempt the fix. If I install factory 88 brakes and fix the parking brake will this solve the rattling issue?

I need to to start acquiring parts and I’m unsure on which direction to go.
