crosslace rims on rear disc brakes hey guys, I'm sorry if this is a topic that i couldnt find on a search......but i have rear drums on my 87 t/a and want to do a disc brake conversion....can i still use my stock rear rims or are they going to dig in like they would on front? or would they even look ok? do i need to go out and get another set of front rims? thanks in advance (btw, yes i know this is also posted in wheels, there was no response on that page so i figured i'd try my luck here) |
Re: crosslace rims on rear disc brakes You can use front or rear crosslace on the rear with disc. |
Re: crosslace rims on rear disc brakes ok thanks. do you know if the offset on the rear going to make it look way off, or still normal? |
Re: crosslace rims on rear disc brakes No, it will be fine. These are 17"s 4 fronts all the way around. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...ec0a05b1b1.jpg |

Re: crosslace rims on rear disc brakes We use stock GTA 'cross-lace' wheels on our 92 B4C 1LE Camaro when autocrossing. I regularly swap between those and the factory wheels for the street. No fitment problems at all. |
