92 camaro rs

After much regret, I feel I need to sell my camaro. I have 3 kids and no more money to spend on her. Initially I intended to convert this to an ls1 car and had started to build it up. This is a 92 camaro rs with 95k miles. It has the original 305 motor backed w/ the 700r4. I am religious with fluid changes with this car.

This is what I have done to the car so far:

fabricated air cleaner tbi/z28 combo type deal
a/c delete pulley
hotchkis tie rods, full front end rebuild about 1500 miles ago
ed miller ls1 brake upgrade, new rotors, pads
alston subframe connectors (bolted and welded)
3.42 rear out of a 98+ 4th gen w/ posi and disc brakes which have new rotors/pads
tubular rear lower control arms
adjustable tubular panhard rod
summit lowering springs
control arm relocation brackets (welded in)
new alternator
new radiator (within 500 miles ago)
k/n air filter
tds wonder bar and tds sway bar greaseable fittings
energy suspension poly bushings throughout
new tranny mount
flowmaster muffler
new jvc speakers front and back

Now for the bad. This car is in good condition but her age is showing.

The paint is starting to peel in spots
It needs a new catalytic converter, currently there is just a straight pipe, so if you need to pass inspection you will need to put one on.
I have not put on the e-brake cables after the swap, I haven't cared because this car is an auto, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, I think Ed Miller could help you out with that.
The cd player works, but it is starting to get picky about what it plays.
few minor dents but nothing major other than a basketball goal accident (small dent)
I rolled the rear fenders because I put 315's on the rear, I did this myself so it does not look professional, however you would not be able to notice this from the outside unless you looked into the wheel well.
The rear defroster does not work, but really who's does??? just kidding
the t-tops did leak just a little and I fixed that with some high tech professional grade non-hillbilly silicone. ( you can barely notice and it fixed the problem but yes it is not high class).

She runs great and sounds good. The 305 is not fast but right now its doing it's job. I think with the upgrades and taking into account the problems, I am asking $4500 which just parting out the car alone would probably reach $4500. I have a friend with a trailer that has offered to ship within about 200 miles, but he charges a couple hundred dollars plus gas. I have taken a few photos prior to cleaning just to be real. I didn't include any interior pics other than what is on the link because I had the dash out thinking I was going to start taking things apart but plans have changed. This has been a very good car and I have tried to describe all the pros and cons. I am posting this here first before I put it local because I would rather sell this to another thirgen enthusiast. Hopefully my link to the pictures work, if not I can try to email them. I will add interior pics probably next week sometime. The title is clear and this car has never been in a wreck. PM me if interested.

Just had a new fuel pump put in. Going to put the price at $4200. Interior pics will be up this weekend and I'm going to try to sell it locally on Monday.

Also comes with a chilton and haynes manual forgot to add. Just listed it locally for $3950. Will be the last price drop.

I guess I should have done some research. After taking a look at camaro prices, I'm lowering to $3500 and that will be the last drop. I didn't realize these were goin so cheap.

Re: 92 camaro rs

Yeah I feel like it's worth a lot more because of the time and money I've invested. But when I got this car and started putting parts on it I knew that the first rule of modification is that you never get your money back when you sell it, and I'm trying to be realistic on what the market value is on these cars but still not try to let it go for nothing. Plus with 3 kids now I can't be waiting for months and months for the car to sell, so I need to make it more attractive than the next camaro, because mine is just an RS (but with some cool add-ons). By the way don't every look at Edmunds.com for car values, they will make you cry if you are selling...

The stock panhard rod and stock control arms were put back on. So price is going down to $3000 firm. Still has all the rest of the upgrades.
