1992 Camaro RS. LT1 Project.

So hate to do it but if a buyer comes up, she's gone. Otherwise I shall continue working on it.

The body is a 1992 Camaro Rs 25th ed Z03 Mid green metallic. Currently in primer. Body has 155k and is in rough condition. So basically the value is in the drivetrain. Body has a lot of rust areas and needs a quick prep outside wise to be straight. Interior is in decent condition. Driver seat has usual tears.

Engine is a 1997 LT1. Rear ended donor trans am read 78k. Ran perfect and was strong behind a built 4l60e with 3600 stall. Pcm was tuned by some mail order tuner. Upon inspection over here in the garage it ended up having diff heads. Castings are 10207613 and 12551561. I installed brand new Accel 9000 wires and Cap & Rotor kit with new Ac Delco rapidfires. Motor was cleaned up well and filled with 5w30 with purelator one oil filter. Is sprayed weekly for proper storage. All that's left to hear it run is wiring, radiator hoses and a/c bypass pulley and belt. Comes with Hedman 68470 shorties no y-pipe. Comes with all wiring and 97 pcm.

Transmission is a 92 4l60. Had a rebuild tag from a shop from Wi from 01. Had a corvette servo. No idea if it was a stock or performance rebuild. Has a 2200 stall. I have already done the 4l60e reluctor ring swap and vss sensor replacement. Needs fluid refill but I will do that up next.

Rear end is a 1989 9 bolt. 3:27 Posi PBR Brakes. Donor Trans am had 88k. Was hit from the side. Rotors were rusted out and are being replaced up next. Needs axle lines.

Suspension wise the car is a F41 Rs. Stock springs all around. Front shocks are old car quests and rears are brand new Kyb Gr2s. Has Founders Performance Lower Control Arms and Panhard Bar. Front sway bar is stock 34mm and rear is a Ws6 24mm with new Energy bushings and links. Stock Torque Arm and Crossmember.

Brakes wise front is stock setup with 2 year old drilled rotors. Rears are like i said are Pbr "1LE" brakes.

Fuel wise it has a new filter and under 10 mile tpi fuel pump with strainer.

Exterior wise most of the panels are rough. Most areas have filler. Hood is a Daytona Iroc hood with no bblisters/louvers. It has a mint set of 91-92 16' wheels. Came off a 91 Z28 with 40k miles. Brand new Riken Raptors 245 50 16s tires on the rear and used up 235 55 16s on the front.

I know I'm close to finishing it but I no longer have the time. I have well over $2000 in it. I want $1500. Nothing more nothing less. I won't take anything less. I feel that's more than enough for someone to get a good deal on a drivetrain swap or wanting to make a profit here. Car will need to be towed or trailered. If it doesn't sell in two weeks I shall be keeping it and finishing it. I would rather keep it but I'm working 6 days a week now so finishing it would be next to impossible.

Let me know if you desire any pictures or wanting to come see it. Located in south chicago midway area. Zip is 60632. Check my Rustbucket thread or facebook for pictures.

I had a guy stop by and wanting to just buy the motor for $200. Please guys unless you know what things cost, don't stop by to waste my time. Hate being an ******* but that's the way it goes.
