Third Generation F-Body Message Boards - Kentucky 1988 camaro iroc-z f/s

ok well as much as i hate to i have decided not to do a lsx swap but offer my car up to someone who will give it a good home. my friend has just offered me his 99 z28 at a fair market value and this will save me a lot of time and work besides i know the car and how it was taken care of. onto my car i bought this car a few months ago from anther guy i worked with he took good car of it he was the second owner i am the third. when i got it second gear was out so i did a 4l60e swap using a tci ez-tcu and it runs and drives great.
to make a long story short i had to get a new pump for the trans it was rebuilt two years ago and was in my 96 z28. i've never seen pump crap out like that but it works just the same as it did. it also has a new torque, and a torque arm relocation crossmember from BMR everything is still there for the 700r4. i just had the trans so i did the swap instead of rebuilding or replacing the 700r.
the car has some damage on the drivers rear quarter panel and drivers front bumper.. this can easily be repaired. i put two new tires on the front because when i got it it still had the goodyear eagle gs-c tires on it.the back are bald i haven't got around to getting some for it but i do have the two front tires i took off they are run-able. there are some rock dings and chips in the paint it is a 25 year old car.and very very light hail damage on the hood. this car was a high option car.. it has an aluminum driveshaft and spare, oil cooler Bose stereo i still have the factory unit that goes with it.
the interior is fairly clean and looks dam good for the age. the headliner it just starting to come loose at the edges, and bolster wear on the drivers seat. i have never shampooed the car so if you did it would look even nicer.
the car was apparently undercoated from the dealership. there is no undercarriage rust, except on the differential. the t-top bar has some rust i am guessing from condensation, and just a touch under the hatch, very simple and minor things. this car is pretty much unmolested except for the trans. factory air and smog are still in place although i think the smog needs changed or chunked.
i am trying to be as honest as i can about the car. the only things that aren't working are the speedo and the cruise. because they are unhooked where the ez-tcu is installed, you can get a tci scu and have speedo and cruise back.. i am located in cumberland ,Ky. and i am asking 4500.00 for the car. hopefully i can get these pics to upload.
