1987 IROC 4 Attachment(s) I am 98% complete on restoring my 1987 Iroc Camaro. Almost every single part on this car is new and has MANY performance parts. I need to sell it because our second baby had open heart surgery and we have to pay of some medical bills. I have almost 20K in this car and have most of the receipts to prove it. I am looking to get $8,500 or reasonable offer. Drivetrain: Freshly rebuild 355 engine - bad shortblock Performance built WC 5 speed Aluminum 4th gen driveshaft w/ new high perf. u-joints Custom exhaust w/ borla muffler Headman Ceramic coated headers large mouth TPIS intake and AS&M runners Built aluminum D-port corvette heads professionally ported and polished NEW 26lb Bosch injectors BBK 58mm throttle body adjustable fuel pressure regulator with dash gauge short throw t-5 shifter new engine accesories and high torque starter/aluminum water pump underdrive pulley kit new Hypertech 190* fan switch Recently added Serpentine accessory upgrade w/ new alt/wp Comp Cams timing chain, LT4 HotCam, 1.6 ratio roller rockers, Billit Distributor, and Accel high energy spark module. Other stuff: new windshield new weatherstripping MOMO leather steering wheel new paintjob new tires and brakes new IROC decals new poly suspension bushings everywhere new drilled slotted rotors and powdercoated rebuilt calipers new fuel pump with Petronix hotwire kit and new sending unit new battery new shocks/struts solid aluminum panhard bar/tubular lower control arms high performance dual fans all new carpet, door panels, headliner, sunvisors newer 4th gen seats in great shape that match the door panels Autometer A/F gauge Tach has been calibrated to read accurately Plus A LOT more!!! I hate to sell her, but I have other priorities right now. I recently had the front end aligned and wheels balanced. - The only things that need attention are the dash lights are not currently working. I swapped out all of the gauge bulbs and now they arent coming on, but it's probably a bad bulb. Also, it is getting coolant in the oil. Could be a bad gasket or something more serious. That's why i'm tired of messing with it and just want to pass it on to another enthusiast. Overall it's a great car with a lot of new parts, I just don't have the time for it anymore. Currently does not have air conditioning. There are the usual number of scratches from parking lot dummies and one very small door dent, barely noticeable. --UPDATE: I am including in this sale a 50k mile Weiand Blown 350 TBI engine that ran very well. Professionally installed and tuned weiand 144 blower package. Only 12k miles on blower. No lopeing idle, video of engine running if needed. If I get my asking price I will throw in a ready to bolt on 1LE big brake kit that includes a set of modified spindles, rebuilt calipers, and new 1LE drilled rotors. I also have the proportioning valve spring to upgrade/impove rear braking. I will also throw in any other extra camaro parts I have in my shed! Clean and clear title in hand. If interested or have questions, you can reply here or text me at 318-402-1244. Thanks, Greg |

Thanks. She's doing good. Had a pacemaker out in and a biventricular repair done to her heart and all seems to be working well. We have to go to Houston twice a year and have a specialist look at her. |
Re: 1987 IROC - 355ci, WC 5-Speed, Fully Restored! Nice car. Wished I would have found something like this a year ago. I wound up getting a 92 that had been sitting and I thing finally got all mechanical issues fixed besides the speedo/tach. I had hard problem or no start when car was hot. Starter is prob getting weak. Replaced mine and car fires right after driving and being hot. Most importantly glad to hear the little is doing good. GL with the sale. Wes |
