1989 IROC 408 T56 12 Bolt [SOLD]
 

I've had this car since 2007, and gone over or replaced basically everything on it. It was originally a 350TPI with a 700R4. The body has in the neighborhood of 150k miles, but the motor, trans and rear have been fully built. I have upwards of $20k in receipts for parts only.

As life has changed I really never drive it anymore (maybe 400 miles in the last 2 years.)

Car has run 3 passes with the current set up, and ran 11.98 @115. This was leaving off idle, with drag radials, granny shifting with the muffler on. Built more as a weekend warrior than drag car.

408ci (2 bolt 400, .040 over) - less than 2500 miles since short block built by Burtonsville Performance Machine
-ARP Throughout
-Eagle Cast crank and I beam rods
-Forged pistons
-Edelbrock Performer RPM heads
-Howards roller cam
-Holley Stealth Ram - ECU is Megasquirt 2
-Stewart Warner water pump
-MSD Pro Billet distributor
-MSD 6AL

1996 T56 - Bought used with 20k miles on it, now has about 25k
-Spec Stage 2 Clutch (new when motor was built)
-Quicktime bellhousing
-400/t56 swap flywheel
-Pro 5.0

KTRE 12 Bolt Rear - approx. 5k since built
-Powdercoated housing
-Eaton Posi w/ Richmond 4.11
-Aluminum cover x/ girdle
-Custom Moser Axles

Interior
-Carpets and interior panels are original and a little bit dirty/peeling
-Perfect headliner and dash pad
-Autometer speedo in stock cluster
-Autometer tach under dash
-AFR gauge in pillar
-Jegs bucket seats

Exterior
-Couple dings, nothing huge
-Front bumper cover cracking in a couple places
-No rust, car has been garaged since 2007
-Harwood hood (hole where someone mounted a fuel gauge at one time)
-No fading in the paint, shines nicely

The bad:
-Slow window motors
-No heat or AC
-Rear tires are to the wear bars
-Could use an alignment **alignment completed April 2019**

Bump - just had the pinion angle set, tires balanced and full alignment completed. Also now has a magnaflow 4" stainless muffler. Car did awesome on the highway to and from Ocean City, and averaged about 19 MPG.
