92 T/A convertible values

Browsing Autotrader and came across this gem:

http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...87510057&Log=0

are these cars really pulling this kind of money these days or these people way off?

That's what I thought but I haven't been watching the vert market closely either.

maybe another 20 years it will be worth that..

If its kept in pristine condition it will go up. Its a Pontiac.. they aren't making any more of them. Probably wont be making any more pony cars that will look that good again either. IMO. You have a VERY nice Vert by the way yourself I imagine its a lot of fun to cruise down the gulf coast line!

I'd say $11k-$12k if it's really nice up close and in person..

It will get to $16-20 like others said if it stays in good condition and is improved and maintained as needed.. May take 5 or so more years..

60k miles is where the mileage really starts hurting the price a bit unless the car is perfect.

No harm in aiming high if your a seller..

Car looks nice

At 133k, I've had two offers for $10k by casual lookers, not that it's for sale. I think any car as pretty as these are with a good paint job, and a rag top, is going to be in 5 figur s most of the time these days. But $16k seems really high.

Like was mentioned, if it was a lower mileage IROC or GTA Trans Am convertible I could see it fetching 16K at a Barret Jackson auction.

If you never aim for the top you will never get to the top. If you just ask minimum to get rid of it then you probably will not get what it is worth. IT is good for those of us that own one. I probably would not ask for my 37K 89 Formula 350 conv for less than $15K today...
