fan wont run, but ill with aldl paperclip so while driving in the city today, which i NEVER do haha, i noticed my temp going WAY up. listened and my fan wasnt turning on. i stoped at autozone and look it was still plugged in and all. then i remember that when you jump the aldl to get the engine codes the fan runs, so i did that and the fan ran fine..why is it only working when i jump the aldl? any ideas? |
Re: fan wont run, but ill with aldl paperclip I'm working on a similar problem except my fan won't run in test mode. Take the connector off your Coolant temperature sensor and use a multi-meter to measure the resistance of the sensor compare that reading with the gauge in the dash and this chart, if they don't jive you've got a bad sensor 177 ohms @ 212 deg.
