Water pump for 355 swap

Hi All-

I am looking into getting a new water pump for my 355 swap.

Running a L98 short block bored over with Vortec Heads, relatively mild cam.

Looking at 310hp or so...not looking to race but have autocross on the horizon.

What are some good choices for this?

Also, looking to do a serpentine belt system, if that is a factor

Chuck

The factory water pump is more than sufficient for a 355. I run a serpentine conversion on the 355 in my 84 and use a factory pump. No issues in over 5 years. If you do the conversion, get one from an 88 and up donor.

When I had to switch to serpentine I bought the Stewart Stage 2 pump. It is counter clockwise rotation for the serpentine set ups. Most people have good reviews on them as well.
