If I had to play "Thread Forensics", I'd be left to conclude that maybe your saying "Brown" but really mean "Dull Orange" ? Clarification may go a long way toward people being able to offer targeted , accurate responses ..... |
Re: brown header saw many questions in the cooling forum about over heating and not seeing a heating forum...well.. that's were I went. the block doesn't seem to get hot enough to open the higher temp stat so maybe the heat right there is causing the 'burnt orangish color on the front header. dropped a 160 in there with a small hole in it . see what happens the plug looks good. hard to chase this down when I only chance to drive once a week. thanks for your help. |
