Holley HP users My new HP will be here today.. Any tips from anyone using it will be appreciated. |
Re: Holley HP users I can talk about it for hours! LOVE the system. We can schedule a phone call if you'd like...hit me up on PM. As for tips? The hardware wasn't really hard to install. Hardest part was physically getting into the spots to properly route everything the way I wanted it run. Follow the instructions regarding power and grounds. Nothing crazy, but they do spec certain ways to do it. Software, again, isn't too tough, but there IS more to learn. There's an awesome $75 dollar online powerpoint "class" you can purchase and it would've been well worth it for me. I muddled through it and asked LOTS of questions on the Holley forum. I ended up buying it after the fact, and frankly it was really targeted to somene in your shoes, who hasn't done it yet. Still, I did learn some functionality of certain things I hadn't played with. If you paid for the system, I'd consider another $75 to be worth it. Trickiest part is really just getting used to where and what everything is. Lots of screens. Lot's of tabs and parameters to look over. The instructions on the disc are actually pretty helpful, just take your time. |
Re: Holley HP users Fired up my car with this today. All I have to say is its awesome barely cranked and fired right up. Ran extremely well for doing almost nothing to it but confirming all my engine options. A big thanks to @Abubacafor answering some questions!! |
Re: Holley HP users Heck yeah man, glad it worked, and glad I could help!!! -although I think we mostly just BS'd about cars in general, not a whole lot about the Holley!!! Still, glad I could help and glad it's running!!!!!! |
