ANYX bin

Hey,

Does anyone have this bin? Its for a 1989 M5 305 with a 3.45 rear and federal emissions. I've checked Moates' site and diy-efi's ftp with no luck. Could you point me toward this bin or upload it to Moates' site?

Thanks

As far as I can tell there was never a broadcast code "ANYX". Where did you get this information ? According to Tunercat's Cal Data no records are found for ANYX.

AKXW was the '89 Manual bin with Federal emissions.

Its the bin from an 89 Formula. Anyways...here's from the FAQ..

89 5.0-F M/Trans (MK6), Fed, 3.45(GM3) 16133630 9375ANYX

What is the difference between the Cali version and the Federal one? That at the rear gear ratio (which I don't think matters) is the only difference in the two.

Thanks,

The ANZA one is tuned for Cali Emissions, and the rear end ratio dosen't matter. Just make sure that the Injector Constant is correct for your application, and look over the timing tables before using it. Should be a Good starting point

Are the spark tables all that is different amoung the two?

Oh yeah...this isn't for my car (91 Z28) it's for a friend that has a 89 Formula. I tried to read the chip on it but I couldn't get it to work.

Re: ANYX bin

I have been looking for the ANYX 9375 bin also. I installed an 89 engine in my 88 and need the correct bin to cover the cold start issue. This is the correct bin for my car in the next year. You haven't by any chance recorded the bin have you? I know this post is a few months old but since you waited a few years I figured it would be OK.

I am located on the other side in Washington State. I don't have the equipment yet either but will be getting it soon. I need to be able to burn my own prom. Since I just installed an 89 engine, I no longer have the cold start injector so I need the 89 BIN. This car also has no VATS. Every BIN I have looked at so far has the VATS enabled so I need the ability to make sure that is correct. One of the things I am curious about is how the computer deals with the rear end gear ratio. I see it listed under some of the Broadcast Code descriptions, but I see no reference to when I look at the BINs in the editor.

As far as I can make out it doesn't matter so long as the VSS drive in the trans has the right gears to suit the diff ratio.

Doesn't matter if you have 2.73 or 4.11, if the ECM sees say , 50mph off the VSS when the car is doing 50mph all is right.

Correct or you can get your chip burnt with the 350 code as well as doing the popular mods like lowering the fan on temps and VAT delete.

I have this ANYX bin in my car. I just bought the chip burning, datlogging software a few weeks ago. Still ironing out some kinks with the equipment. Get that squared away, I'd be happy to provide the bin for this so long as I don't ruin the chip in the process of taking it out.

Re: ANYX bin

Can someone with ANYX confirm if the FACTORY injectors were 19lb or 21lb ?

I am convinced ANYX LB9 305 motor was 21 lb from the factory, but without being able to read the BIN, I can't be sure.

My ANYX 9375 Bin has 19.48 lbs / hr set as the injector constant for both single and double fire per TunerPro. This is from the original bin as downloaded from the chip. I no longer have the original Multec injectors, several started going bad so I junked them- otherwise we might be able to verify the actual flow rating from the part number.

Re: ANYX bin

Here's the story with my all original 89 LB9. I'm the original owner, so I know it's original. ANYX. My injectors went bad, so I tossed them too. I installed ACCEL 19lb injectors. Now my BLM's are way high, like 145-150, and the car has a high RPM WOT miss, so I know it's starving for fuel.
I'm convined the injectors (were) 21lb from the factory. Too bad I threw them away, or I would have had them flowed.

There is another guy on here too with the same problem.
I have a set of 21 lb on my bench, hopefully I'll get them installed soon, and then see if the BLM's come down to earth.

Re: ANYX bin

Just buy something other than Accel and I bet your problem will go away.

Accel has new and improved injectors. They dumped the old line of problematic injectors.
