EBL Timing Retard Question Hi, is there a way to retard my timing at initial acceleration from a stop? Right now, when I'm at a stop sign or traffic light, when I go to take off I have to very very gentle on the gas or else my tires will spin in the rear for a second or so before grabbing. In the rain it's almost impossible. I have brand new tires too. I'm thinking I can just retard the timing around the 800 to 1000 rpm level at the kPA value I'm at when accelerating. Is that correct? |
Re: EBL Timing Retard Question SA - Idle State; lower it a tad, maybe set it to 19*. If it's already at 19*, then leave it there... SA - Launch Mode; zero out the values that are near your idle RPM/kPa, or just zero it out entirely... SA - Main Table; make the ramp less aggressive by averaging it a tad lower... - Rob |
Re: EBL Timing Retard Question It may also be helpful to reduce the IAC throttle follower (TF) by lowering the gain term (IAC - TF Gain). RBob. |
