Re-wired car, can't figure out hatch pulldown wiring!!

I was an idiot when I first got the car. I deciced to re-wire the entire car so I could eliminate unnecessary circuits, as well as learn about electronics. The only thing I have left is the hatch pulldown wiring. I don't have a release switch in the cab. You put the key in the cylinder on the hatch, open it, and the hatch releases as well as raises the motor. This was about 4 years ago when I cut everything, and now Im regretting it. All I have in the rear is 2 connectors on the pull down motor.

connector 1:

blue white orange brown

connector 2:

black orange brown (can't remember if that's the order or not)

That's all I have to go with. Right now the only wire I have coming from the fuse block is the red/white LID wire. I think I ended up cutting the orange wire from the ACC fuse. The thing that Im confused about though is the switch. Is there a switch made into the cylinder or something? I've looked at about 5 different wiring diagrams on here, including a couple from AllData and Mitchell's, and I still cannot seem to understand the circuitry. Can anyone possibly draw me out a diagram on how it's supposed to be? Or does anyone have a diagram for the motor with NO switch in the cab? I dont know why Im just not getting this, but I for some reason cannot seem to figure this one out. Thanks guys!

Re: Re-wired car, can't figure out hatch pulldown wiring!!

Can someone help me out? I have no relay in the car, and come to think of it I dont remember pulling one out to begin with (car was already hacked up when I got it). I have a red/white wire coming from the LID fuse, but Ive looked at several wiring diagrams, but I cannot make sense of them, mainly because they either show a release switch (mine's only opened with the lock cylinder), or it just shows the LID fuse power and a few other wires that are unnecessary to me (5spd car, Im bypassing all the "safety" switches and such). Can anyone take a picture of the wires, or if anyone is willing can someone draw me up a quick diagram? Thanks guys, Ive been rackin my brain on this all week!

here's a quick ms-paint I did showing how the car is now. no other wires to speak of, no relay, no switch, nothing else. Can someone connect the dots for me?

Dude, you're getting no love here. I'll give you a bump. But I have no idea how to answer your question (I am retarded when it comes to electrical).

thanks man, Im also talking with lonsal from TDS to see if he can help me out. But thanks for the bump!

id like a schematic of how you wired it up. im in the same boat.

First off, that first diagram I made is slightly wrong. The brown wire on the left should be an orange wire. Here's a modified version of how it's wired up now. I ASSUME that the relay is only used when a remote mount release switch is used. In this case, I didnt have one.

I think th leftover brown wire might be for some sort of light, I havent checked power on it though, I just have it wrapped up in electrical tape for now. But I ran the motor up and down through a few cycles, no problems yet.
