ive got an 85, will any other years "plug and play"? ive got a dead tach.

Ten minutes to pull the tach and replace.

any more info? maybe a link? im searching and having a hard time finding what i need. Ive seen threads about changing the resistor on the tach itself i need to know what to replace it with. also been searching and reading about the tach filter. not really sure what the problem is.

oh sorry. its an '85 IrocZ.

I threw a higher red line tach into my 85. From the bone yard, it was $15.
