Help with C100 wiring. currently wiring up my ls carb swap. Have most of it figured out other than the A4 red wire and the G5 red wire. I am not completely sure about where they are supposed to go to. From what I read it says something about a power distribution block but I can’t find that anywhere. Anything will help! Thanks |
Re: Help with C100 wiring. On a 91 GTA? G5 goes to the positive post on the starter with a fusible link. Powers the lights mostly. A4 goes to the same place on a different fusible link and powers damn near everything. If your diagram says "distribution block" you're probably looking at a TBI or 3.1L diagram, TPI cars don't have a block, they run everything to the starter. Pages 8A-10-2 8A-10-3, and 8A-10-4 are where you'll find those wires in the 91 Firebird manual. |

Re: Help with C100 wiring. Yeah whoever made that diagram wanted it to be universal, or they just want to call the positive at the starter a dist block. Doesn't matter much, just on tpi cars everything runs off the starter and everything else uses a block by the battery. |
