LT1 throttlebody IAC housing just need a housing. Don’t need the whole tb thanks https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...8e3355fc4.jpeg |
Re: LT1 throttlebody IAC housing 93 uses a tpi screw in iac. 94-97 has the iac housing as you have shown. Here is one for cheap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/93-97-Camar...IAAOSwPEFbi0Ex |
Re: LT1 throttlebody IAC housing thanks. im going the same route you did using this on my tpi set up now. |
Re: LT1 throttlebody IAC housing There is little clearance on the left side water outlet and the t stat housing. The last one I used was on a stock tpi. I’m not sure but there maybe clearance issues with the manifold on aftermarket bases and runners. here is the wiring. The square 4 connector is female unlike the picture. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...t-iac-use.html hope that helps last post https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...ttle-body.html |
Re: LT1 throttlebody IAC housing https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...e82c70904.jpeg You can always cut the iac housing down too. if you need a gasket kit autozone has gp sorensen 96-3008 If you have a serpentine belt setup Dayco 87662 works well to bypass the throttle hoses. It runs from the front intake coolant port to the heater control valve. |
Re: LT1 throttlebody IAC housing Although I have a 91 I’m running belt because I’m running alternator and power steering. I’m running the stock but ported tpi base and plenum i got the housing today I dug our a couple of iac actuators I collected over the years from body part outs. I’m not sure if they will work. They both have to be mounted with screws and harness adapter. Is there a specific part number on the iac ? https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...82a538a64.jpeg |
