starting to build my Nasty 350!!
 
ok thanx people for all the info on what parts to put togeather

Trying to make 450-500 hp
its a 350
30 over
stock crank- shot peened+balanced
stock rods-shot peened+balanced
hi volume oil pump
cam-306 durtain 555 intake and exhast- should go bigger tho!!
pete jackson nosiy gear drive
12-1f flat top pistons should make 13-1 or 14-1 compresson
victor jr intake single plane
pro topline heads 220 50cc heads 202 valves and 160
Carb not sure yet
aluminim pully set
electric water pump
dual fans!
motor will be backed by a built 700r4 and 411 gears
tell me what yous think!!

I think you've got balls trying to run 13:1-14:1 on stock rods and a stock crank..shot peened or not. Especially with the RPM's that you're probably gonna be seeing. Ofcourse that is just my opinion.

well if anyone would help me out here on info what to buy to make a pure drag motor any info would be nice no blower or boost looking to see 450hp

Here's a list of some combos... Might give you some idea on how to get around 450 to 500 hp. Plus there's always the search and google ;)

Current engine or the new 350 that's going to be built? I'm sticking with single plane for the new engine since it's going to be running up to 7,200 rpm and eventually have a 250 shot on top. My current dog of a 305 showed an improvement even with the torker II single plane. I was running a regular Performer and it would kinda fall off what seemed to be around 4800 rpm. The torker II helped get beyond that plus it was only 40 bucks :)
