3 questions? i have a 85 berlinetta that used to be a 6cyl.the dipsh%t  who had it before me changed it to a 350 without changing the harness and it is rigged up so the best thing for me to do is change it back to a 6cyl and start over? i also have an 86 6cyl camaro (non-berlinetta)that runs very good but the trans is on it's way out.it does have a new exhaust,so i plan on taking that exhaust and putting it on the 85 berlinetta. what i want to do is change the 85 berlinetta back to a 6cyl. so my questions are: #1-is the 86 6cyl the same as an 85 6 cyl? #2-would it be an easy swap since my 85 used to be a 6cyl? #3-is the trans in the 6cyl the same as the trans in the 8cyl?(700r4) |
Re: 3 questions? transmission has a different bellhousing, but other than that, go ahead and slam the '86 engine in the '85. |
Re: 3 questions? You don't have to go all the way back to a V6 to start over. |
