Anyone can build a high horsepower smallblocks, but there's a couple of things to take into account like; idling, vacuum, converter needed(depending where the power is)

This is an example of a 355 from beck's...
602 HORSEPOWER @ 7100 RPM
521 FT. # TORQUE @ 5400 RPM

Impressive but not streetdriven..

It all depends on what your goal with this engine is...
