Where to find 4 tooth Reluctor ring

Hi Guys,

I'm in Australia and having a very difficult time finding a vortec 4 tooth reluctor ring, timing cover and sensor, and vortec dizzy for a 0411 PCM swap into my transAM.

We don't have those motors available for anything other than marine motors from the looks of it, ad they are few and far between. The annoying thing is I actually had these parts and sold them with a vortec block as I changed build ideas.

I checked the EFIconnection site but it looks like they've moved to the 24, and 58x systems, but I don't want to go coil per cylinder, i just want sequential injection and obdII setup.

Does anyone know of a wreckers they could get these parts from locally and either post on ebay for me, or ship to Australia and pay via paypal.
I've been burned before on these forums, so would prefer ebay to ensure no dodgy sellers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's pointing me in the direction of a internationally shipping wreckers.

Cheers.

The 96-97 LT1 motors have a 4 tooth reluctor ring but I don't think that's going to help you much with your situation. Your best bet might be trying to find a used parts/junk yard on-line shop that is willing to ship over seas.

LOL
You'd be surprised :P
Just found 2 on Ebay for $50 shipped :)
Thank you very much! :)
Now I just need to find a cheap vortec timing cover and sensor.
Did the LT1s have a SBC compatible timing cover for the sensor, or will I have to get a vortec one for that?

LT1's had a cover for the sensor but it is specific for LT1s. You will need a 96-2002 truck/van vortec cover. Good thing for you as they're easier to find than the LT1 version.
