Header Suggestions?
 
I have an '87 IROC-Z 305 TPI that I want to buy headers for. I was wondering what type of headers would be the easiest to install with a stock y pipe. Also, what brand is the best and which will increase horsepower the most while still passing emissions? Thanks for the replies

As far as I know, there are no headers that will fit the stock Y-pipe (and since the Y is part of the restriction, why would you want to keep it). For best flow/performance, purchase headers and Y-pipe together. The board consensus to "best" appears to be Dyno Don's headers or Hooker 2055's.

Dyno Dons are the best IMO, but Hedman and Hooker make good kits for our cars....

Headers with a stock y-pipe would be like pitting a band aide on a severed artery would help at all.
Dyno Don with his Y-pipe is the way to go, trust me.
