Exhaust and subframe connectors Hi How are you doing to make room for the exhaust when you have subframe connectors Installed? Have a 1989 TTA |
Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors I have the UMI subframe connectors http://umiperformance.com/catalog/in...roducts_id=127 No problems with the catback. The Y pipe was fine when I use 2." inch piping but when I went to 3" I had to cut and angle it a bit down by the brace to get it to fit. |
Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors The Spohn connectors give factory-like clearance to the y-pipe, which is where 90% of the problem is with subframes. |

Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors Well thats not going to happend,i dont think you cant buy those in sweden and shipping is very expensive. I going to modify the one i have on the car and hope they still do some good, car make close to 600fwhp so think i need them |
Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors I undererstand. I just would hesitate before cutting ANY of the subframe on your car. Congrats on 600whp though, that's impressive! And yes, that does demand you install some kind of sub frame connectors. :) |
Re: Exhaust and subframe connectors I vill not cut on subframe just going to flat out a pice of 4 inch on the connectors, they are already bolted to the car and fits fine exept for exhaust clerence |
