Removing/Installing midpipe without a lift
 

Hey everyone, sorry to make another post but do you know how to removed the midpipe without a lift? I have the car jacked up probably a foot and a half and I can't seem to get this thing out. I'd just cut it out but then I wouldn't know how to get the new one in haha. Thanks in advanced

If possible jack it up more..drop the rear end down should come out.or cut it an put a band clamp on it..most aftermarket ones are cut right at the axle for that reason..

Probably have to just about completely remove the rear end. Sounds terrible but I had to do it to remove the pipe to get the gas tank out once. If you have disc brakes you can hang the calipers and brake lines to avoid re bleeding them.

Pull the wheels and get the axle as low as possible.

Disconnect the shock at the bottom. The rear axle will drop much lower. Watch the brake lines.

don't pull the rear. remove the tire, shock, spring and control arm on right side and slide it in.

Disconnect the track bar and the shocks and the rear will drop down enough to get the exhaust out or in. I never tried it the way naf said, but it makes sense that if the spring and control arm were out of the way, it would probably slip in through the side.
