1987 iroc body plates
 

Hello,i know im on an impossible search but i guess i need to start somewhere. since they dont reproduce cowl/body tags anymore im trying to find some. i have a black 1987 iroc z lb9 5 speed car with tan color interior, i know all of this is legit as i have the original build sheet for the car. at some point before i owed the car some jackass removed the body number plate and the cowl trim plate i guess to paint the car but never put them back on??i have been trying to to find a scrap/parts 1987 irocz black lb9 5 speed car that i could get the plates off of.do any off you guys have any suggestions or parts car?thanks

Generally speaking, tampering with the VIN is illegal.

The 1987 Camaro didn't have a Cowl/body tag like the 1st and 2nd gen cars did,

Awesome, that makes me feel better one less part to track down. but 87 did have the cowl tag right?on the firewall? so my 1987 has no body plates other than the vin plate on the dash??
