1 Attachment(s) think i could do somthing like that on the highrise spoiler.. i doubt it cause of how the light wraps around the bottom of the wing, that looks awsome btw |
Thanks! You dont really need to do anything to that light on the high rise. You might make some sort of mask or something, but that light looks good to start off with. I just hated the rear shots of mine with that huge ugly red lens, and mow that I have that cover on it, I dont mind the buldge on the windshield quite so much... |

Looks good. Anyone have suggestions for the brake light for a 92 Camaro? |
I want a 3rd brake light now....:( |
BACK FROM THE DEAD! YES! uh, I dont know what to do for a 92 model. Maybe take the lens off and mask it in a similar way? |
sorta off topic but do you drive your car in this calgary winter:confused: I do and sheesh....Its gggaayyy:doh: |

Originally posted by 305q_ta86 Yeah, I do. I drove a bunch today, and turned her at least 45* sideways on Glenmore, just after the bridge heading east. Scary stuff. edit: oh and this was while doing 70 or so. |
Meh. Long as I stay off deerfoot I should be fine. And thank *** school is pretty close. And I have brand new inter tires. And sand. And driver training. And the will to live. I came over a hill today and there was an SUV on the median with his hazards on. I barely missed him. edit: WHOO 600 posts! :P |
Last one before this get too off topic Your very very lucky....i dont have winter tires :P and from all my smoke shows i wouldnt say i really have rubber....haha. But i manage, And if I do slide out i can control it really well, my school is no where near me though....i have to take the highway everyday :bs: |
Makes me glad that I am in middle Georgia, snow is not common, but sometimes ice is, but not much. Anyways about the brake light I finally had an idea. The 90-92(correct me about 90 if im wrong) are taller than they are wide. It finally hit, instead of doing a word like camaro or intials like RS, why not the Camaro symbol. Should fit good, thinking of usuing aluminium flashing for it, its easy to cut mold and have a bunch of extra of it. |
hey that should work. Let me know. :) |
I thought I let you know that I finished the tail light and it looks pertty good for all the drawing and layout to be done by hand. I got to go around the sides with black eletrical tape to keep the edges from showing light through. I will also try to steal, umm... borrow a digital camera to take some pictures of it. |
I look forward to seeing how it looks! |
dude that is sweet. |
1 Attachment(s) What I did a few years ago on my camaro. Park lights and my third brake light is also done says iroc-z with bowties on each end. |
man that looks sweet, iroc-z383. You don't get any gripe from the local fuzz about the front lamps? |
Nothing and I have had them on there for over 4 years, they are pretty bright , and still work fine. I don't have a pic of my third brake light but will get one soon. |
Cool idea for the 3rd brake light! The only good thing about our brake lights is that the bulbs are cheap... plus, they used them on 'Vette's. Chevettes, that is. :( |
