Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season 3 Attachment(s) Pretty easy to do. I spent about $80 to build this thing. Screwed it all together rather then glue so I can dismantle and put away when needed. This is Forza 3 but its much more fun with street racing games like midnight club LA and need for speed. Re: Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season THIS. IS. AWESOME!!!!! Dude put up some plans for it, I'm a HUGE Forza freak lol |
Re: Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season Nice. I trust you have a 12V power source so that you can pump up those air bladders in that 4th gen Trans Am seat. |
Re: Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season What...no seat belts? Looks pretty cool! |
Re: Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season NICE!!! Thats exactly what I wanted to build but havent gotten around to it! How much do you weigh? Does it seem sturdy enough for spirited driving? How about some details on the seat mounting? Sliders still work? I wouldnt mind some plans either. I have a 911 wheel and would LOVE to mount the shifter down low where its supposed to be and set something like this up! J. |
Re: Build an in home racing cockpit and enjoy a thirdgen in the off season I plan to build something like this eventually. I've used my racing wheel like 3 times, because it's awkward to use attached to a coffee table and sitting on the couch. The biggest problem is that I already have a large Rock Band drum set-up in the room, that doesn't really allow for any more large game peripherals. :/ |
