Has anybody installed a "Bolt" on cowl ? Looking at the JEGS flyer, seein some bolt on cowls and wonderin if anybody has done this and just cut out the hood to make it functional.... |
Re: Has anybody installed a "Bolt" on cowl ? Biggest problem is the shame of the hood. Most bolt on pieces are made to attach to a flat surface but your firebirds hood is far from flat. Im sure its possible but there would be quite a bit of fitment and possible body work to make it fit. |

Re: Has anybody installed a "Bolt" on cowl ? Get a stock flat hood, build a mock up of the scoop you want on it out of styrofoam blocks and clay. Take a mold from it in fiberglass use to make a scoop out of glass. |

If you end up that far into it, It would be better just to make a mold of the entire hood. then make your self a new hood. |
