Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 Even at obo for 12k, you're expectations are still way too high. Just being honest. Glws though |

Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 Looks like a nice car. I think you should research the market better. Your a little high on that number. Is it a 5 speed? Any interior pictures? |

Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 Thinking that's a 5000-6000$ car... mileage isn't THAT low compared to what's available out there. $12k will buy a mint GTA! EDIT: Ugh, it's an auto? Might need to adjust that number a smidge :p |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 $5,000 to $6,000? I'd disagree. My IROC would sell for more than that at nothing is original. I am lowering the price on here as I do agree that it's a bit inflated but not that low. You don't find these all original anymore. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 bump $9,000 OBO pics at beginning of thread |

Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 more pics are to come and thanks bud what are you driving around these parts?! |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 I think it would bring around 7-8k to the right buyer, very clean car. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 I think so too bud! All these know-it-alls ask me if i've researched the market. Have you researched the car? This thing is untouched all original. Thanks for the comment! |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 Base model, Lo3,Auto,etc.. Clean car, no doubt, but for 9k someone could buy a nice 3rd gen with some great options. It aint got a 5spd, it aint got a 350, it probably dnt have posi-trac...the list goes on and on. It may bring 5k and probably no more. Its nice but 9k is wishful thinking. |

Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 Im no appraisal expert and not trying to knock an obviously very nice car. I guarantee you there are immaculate cars out there just this nice for 5k that wont leave you stranded though. I am driving one myself. 9k is way outa range though. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 OK thanks for the input... Fielding all reasonable offers people |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 Gonna jump on the band wagon here...9K is not realistic for a base tbi firebird regardless of mileage and condition. 60K miles is definitely on the lower side for a 23 year old car, but not out of this world low. While not perfect, my '91 firebird convertible is still very nice, with only 50K original miles when I bought it and I only paid $4500 this past October. (Ignore mods in sig, they've all been done since I got it) I'm not going to say $5-6K isn't feasible, but $9K certainly isn't. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 I paid $4,000 for my IROC Z 1987 G92 package... but i've put almost three times that into it. This car needs nothing. So I thank all of you for your input, but the value of the car is that it won't require engine work or a new trans or suspension. I've been through all that with my thirdgen and my aunt has kept this thing in the garage since day 1. It has never seen snow or rain. I am still posting as $9,000 or best offer. Still waiting on offers! |

Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $12,000 if you're interested in my aunt's car i'd be happy to meet you down there in Summit to take a look we can work out a deal |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 My buddy sold his IROC-Z all red on red interior/exterior for $5k easily. Had roughly 60,000mi. It wasnt as clean as this is, nor all original, as it needed a new torque arm and a few other tidbits. Interior wasn't immaculate either, just very clean. GLWS. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 Yea I don't think a list price of $9,000 OBO is too insane thanks for the input |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 All these people giving you crap lol. I think you could fetch a little more than $5k people are saying since it's in such nice condition that don't come by that often. GLWS and don't let these low ballers get to ya too easily |

if you're interested in my aunt's car i'd be happy to meet you down there in Summit to take a look we can work out a deal I like the car a lot and it looks gorgeous but I want manual. If it was a manual I would definitely consider it. I really don't think your asking too much for it. Everyone has to remember it's a one owner car that's all original. As far as I'm concerned that means something. Especially if it is well documented. It might not be a GTA, but I would rather have something that's all original one owner than a GTA for a couple grand less that has had 3-4 owners each putting their "touch" on it. I would say that's worth the extra money. Advice: You have to post more pictures. Documentation, history ect. I wouldn't want someone to get this car and start modifying it. IMO this car needs to be preserved. Just my .02. IMO this is a great cruiser throw some OER Firehawk wheels on it (save the original ones of course) and have fun. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 Yes more pics are on the way and I will get documentation from my aunt. |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 bump... |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 bump.... car is still for sale and still located in Summit, IL. All original!! $9,000 |
Re: 1991 Firebird TBI $9,000 I bought my 88 IROC-Z HT from the original owner, and it has the base TBI 305 motor in it with 214k on it when I bought it. The car was super clean for the mileage, but being in a dry climate helped allot too. I paid $4800 for it, so I think with your low miles you should easily get at least 7k-8k for it, just my opinion. Even if it had 160K on it you could get at least 6 for it. Don't let all the naysayers get you down, "it's not a 350 car" "not a 5 speed" blah blah blah, you just need the right buyer is all:) Here is my IROC http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...530_105746.jpg |

Very sweet ride sir! Pics of mine are in my signature or you can check out my photo albums in my profile. Although I highly doubt you bought an IROC with a TBI engine... didn't come with TBI. Only 4bbl or TPI. Mine I bought for $4,000 but the 305 is rebuilt and cammed, with headers and Banks exhaust. So no real originality valuethere. I have since replaced the trans with a TKO600. Yea I am not too worried. Someone will end up buying it for the asking price. |

You're right. Why the hell did they do that? lol So yeah, it is what it is, it's a great running setup, just not as much power as the TPI of course and doesn't look as good as the TPI. Oh well, I didn't mean to be short in my other post, I was at work and on my phone so I had to make it quick lol:thumbsup: |
