'87 GTA Trans Am Unfortunately, I have to sell the "new" project I just picked up a couple weeks back. 1987 GTA, hardtop. Flame Red Metallic, camel cloth interior. Has the original and correct non-dimpled gold crosslace wheels as well as the GTA steering wheel and map pocket on the dash. Center console is trashed and the door panels need repainted and the cloth inserts redone, passenger side rear 1/4 needs some light body work. Car is 97% rust-free, has light surface rust on the roof, and some rust in the battery tray. PW PL PS. Previous owner pulled the AQ9 seats due to damage and replaced them with incorrect seats (sorry, purists!) 3 tires are dry-rotted, and they're mismatched. Clearcoat is peely, could use a sand and wax or repaint. Car runs and drives, but has at least one dead injector and possibly multiple leaking injectors. New battery, fresh tuneup. I really hate to let it go, but due to unforeseen financial hardship and the very real possibility of moving out of state, I have no other choice. I'd planned to replace the injectors and sand it down and prime it myself, but can now no longer afford to even buy a spraycan of primer.. I've got right at $1300 in it and would like to at least recoup my money on it... But feel free to make me a reasonable offer.https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...4c1fed480f.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...5eb1af7490.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...b6ccc8874a.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...afc3a2dd3e.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...50bd8ab3c9.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...39742ceb02.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...bf4c8192d0.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...899b02fcc4.jpg |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Would the car run well enough to make two hundred miles or would it have to be trailered? |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am I would recommend trailering it. |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Still available? |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am I still have it. Availability depends on how willing you are to meet my price. On the fence about keeping it, but circumstances have changed slightly and I've got about 5 weeks before moving to TX. If you wanna come look at it and talk price, let me know and I'll PM you my address. I won't be available this coming week before 7pm. |

Depending where you would be going in Texas/If you still had it by then, Id definitely be interested. I'm out of Kansas, Georgia is a bit out of my driving range haha. |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Sent off for new title this morning. Moving to TX by end of this month, don't have time/money to finish her up like I wanted. |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am $1200 anyone? |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am $1000..........? I can't take it with me to TX. Someone bring me $800 and take it home :( |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Can you get it to me in Montgomery AL for $1000 total? |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am No.. If I have to pull it, it's going straight to Texas. But I can't afford to rent a tow-dolly along with the fuel for a moving truck and van. And hotel room for a night. And food for 5. lol |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Where to in Texas?, asking cuz i'm in houston and interested. |
Re: '87 GTA Trans Am Abilene. But it's looking like I won't have to bother with towing it or anything. |
