IROC's I just saw an add for a 90 IROC. I might be wrong but I thought the IROC went away in 89. ------------------ 89 IROC 5.0 TBI 89 RS 5.0 TBI, T-Tops, Soon to be a IROC clone. |
1990 was the last year. I know this for a fact because I bought one new. |
I thought this had already been covered in detail, but here goes. Yes the '90 model year was the last of the Iroc's. But all '90's were made in 1989. 90 was a short model year, hence the rarity of either RS or Iroc. Easily destinguished by the new interior including drivers side air bag. Sorry to have brought up an old subject. I was just wondering. Thanks, for clearing that up for me. I knew that there were no 91 or 92's. Just wanted to be sure about the 90's. Phil |
They only made 34,986 1990 camaros -4,213 IROC coupes -and only 1,294 IROC convertables I wish I knew how many of the IROC convts came with the 5-speed (but I'm sure not many) There could be some 'fairly' rare combinations in this year. |
someone is selling an IROC and says that it has a 5.7 that was factory, but put it in after the car had 100,000 miles. now it has 70,000 on the new engine. and its an Automatic. did a 86 IROC ever come with a factory 5.7 and Auto? |
