Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am Was watching tv now live as I am surfing the web and barret-Jackson in Orange County, CA just rolled a 1983 Trans Am with "59" actual miles, showroom new and the car only went for 14k. Black on black, the host even took a shot at the F body saying they are not strong cars ( Nascars Mike Joy ). Now a 1986 Pontiac Tojan, from a Jay Leno movie. Red on black, new looking, a firebird turned into a ferrrari according to Mike Joy. Kinda ugly though I must admit. Sold for 15k. Andrew Update: I just read other post and see the tan interior and how bad the paint was and etc. What they do then, restored this car? It was supe dam clean to me, engine bay was excellent. Maybe I was confused with another car ( watching over 3 hours now ) but thought I saw black interior. Sorry to get anyone upset if I am confused. But in all as of NOW, that was a beautiful looking trans Am. |
Re: Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am Mike Joy's a fool for saying that. Who cares if it's not a strong car. And yes, it was a very nice Trans Am. |
Re: Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am Yeah, it appears to me to be the same car as discussed in this thread some time back: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...-thirdgen.html |

Re: Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am 1 Attachment(s) It sold again at Barrett Jackson Las Vegas 2010. I had written to Barrett Jackson to tell them about the history of this car and I guess they did not take me seriously. Barret Jackson Las Vegas 2010 Attachment 405542 |
Re: Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am 1 Attachment(s) I was at Barret Jackson yesterday and I saw this car. I dont like most early thirdgens so I was not impressed. It was missing the radio, and a couple little pieces on the center console. A shitty pic I took yesterday Attachment 405499 |
Re: Barret-jackson '83 Trans Am I have a couple pictures of the Trans Am and the two Camaros that were there. I'll post later. |
