Where to buy dealer showroom front plate? 3 Attachment(s) That's "Where" to buy...I need to fire my proof reader and typist. I'm not sure what you'd call these...to me, the sort of item the car might have had in its front plate holder on the showroom floor? Anyway, I'd like to find one for an '88, if they are available. I was hoping these were reproduced? I've poked around the web, and don't find any for sale. Any ideas? A few examples... Attachment 332545 Attachment 332546 Attachment 332547 |
Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? Wouldn't it be specific for each dealership  |
Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? Some are...but these examples are generic PONTIAC or TRANS AM items. No dealer name on them. I'm sure they were promotional material made available to Pontiac dealers by GM, just like sales brochures, displays, banners, etc. I'm hoping someone is reproducing them. Finding a good original is going to be difficult, I would think. |

Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? Maybe take your idea of what you want it to look like to a print screen shop and have them run them off for you. Just an idea. |

Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? They are called "Dealer Booster Tags" for not just dealer names but specific model tag lines like "Pontiac, We build Excitement" and the like and made of plastic. I still have mine in a folder somewhere with other stuff. |

Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? I have the period "We Build Excitement" license plates in black and white, but nothing that is year-specific except for a really long 1988 wall banner. |

Re: Were to buy dealer showroom front plate? Ask anyone who prints plastic plates, they'll print custom ones for you. Just search GOOGLE images for the one you want and send it to them. And don't worry about longetivity if it's for the front of a show car kept in the garage. It'll last a long time. |
