TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... For some reason that's another color combo I've always loved. Really need to liquidate some vehicles so when nice cars like this come up I can buy them. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... Cool car! |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... Agreed- dirty color scheme. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I agree! But I'm conflicted, lol! The low mileage makes it desirable, but it's only an lg4. I don't think I'd pay the asking price, but I'd start at 8k and maybe go 9 something? |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I love that car. Low miles be damned, I'd put in a real drivetrain and put some miles on. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... That car is neat. The '86 and '87 LG4s are a bit healthier than the previous ones. The stick makes it more interesting. I'd be in at under $8K. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I’d just drive it as is. Odo too low to mess with imo. Just cruise along doing the pedestrians a favor with the view. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I gain more appreciation for the LG4 the deeper I get into this. You can swap a 350 into one and make it look close enough to stock that no one will really know, and the potential for performance is better than a TPI car. I'd rather see an LG4 car with a 400hp 350 breathing through a 4bbl carb, than a L98 car that's been swapped. Granted you have to throw away a lot of stock parts, but then those stock parts on a LG4 car are pretty terrible. A person could even run the LG4 while making upgrades that'll work with an eventual 350 upgrade. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I love the color combo.....but I may be a little biased https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...757c3d53aa.jpg |

Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I like it, other then it being a non-roller cam engine and the CHMSL being up high |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... Cool car! I even dig the crank windows as no one sees that anymore.. I had that interior in my 1985 Z28 and it probably holds up better than any interior on these cars.. I had white with black ground effects on my 85.. very similar.. was an auto, but TPI with T-tops.. was a fun car.. This is a good buy under $10k |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... 1 Attachment(s) I would buy that car. Love the color combo. LG4 / 5 speed can run mid to low 14s with some very basic mods and still look bone stock. Love the black interior. A pic for the record |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... Someone in high school had that color combo. I love Irocs but I love that color on a Z. |

Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I really like the color combination on that... looks great... Were the wheels originally painted to match the stripe? even so, they look right on the car. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... That car is bone stock original for the wheels, stripes and paint. |
Re: TOO BAD IT'S AN 86... I like how Ja85z28 made his to look just like an HO and warmed the Lg4 over. I would build something similar to the zz4 or something of that range and put it in there. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this car at 8500-9 and build it to my liking. |
