Yellow 91 firebird
 

Seen this for sale on south jersey craigslist never seen a 91 yellow firebird was this color available in 91 or do u guys think this car was repainted at some point.

Looks like the original yellow to me... Jamaican Yellow or whatever it was called

I'm fairly certain JY was a 92 only colour, and considering the seller doesn't have a title for that car, it's probably actually a 92. There's a member on here with a 92 JY Trans Am vert, he'll probably know for sure

To bad it don't have a title be one to pick up being that is only a one year only color.

Wadya bet it was manufactured in September - December 1991, so that's what shows on the title or door tag, but it would actually be a model year 1992.

The trans am is the blue one, the JY is most likely a 92 and is just a base bird with 305 tbi or 6 banger.

I have a '91 TA vert. Had it since new and the literature for that model year does not show JY as an available color for any model Fbody. It is either a repaint or a '92 Firebird - not a TA.

That guy has two cars available a 91 trans am and a 92 firebird convertible the blue ta was a repaint was originally white.

Yes, but the ad is for a "Yellow 91 Firebird". That was not an advertised color for 91. Maybe for 92 but not 91.

There is no record of a Yellow 1991 Firebird rolling off the line.

If someone got the VIN I could tell you what color it originally was... I am not that interested to do the work myself... So if you want to know, I will punch it into compnine.
