1987 Z28 What I thought was decent driver quality...

And then I saw the underside pics and just about puked. Do they really think they made it look better underneath? It's the worst I have ever seen. What a shame.....the rest of the car has so much potential....

How can it be an "ALL ORIGINAL CAR!!!!!!!" or "THIS IS AN UNMOLESTED, ORIGINAL Z-28 CAMARO." When the following has been stated:
"LOTS OF NEW PARTS INCLUDING:
Brand New Water Pump & Thermostat
Distributor cap, Rotor Button, Plugs & Wires
Felpro Valve Cover Gaskets
All new Duralast Drive Belts and Coolant Hoses
NEWER 215-65-15 Kelly Explorer Plus Tires
NEW Exhaust Stainless Tips
Brakes are like New
Flowmaster Exhaust"

Gets me every time.

I especially enjoy the paint overspray above the muffler. Classic.

Well, some people are spray can happy when it comes to an undercarriage. Maybe this is one of those people.

Decent driver. Cars worth 4500 if the rust is not too bad. Id rather them not rattle canned it to hide it but looks like an honest HO car lol. I don't mind it being an LG4 they are easy to work on, modify, and you can keep it stock looking in doing that.

Good one!! It would be interesting to see what Carfax says about my car. It had the recall for the pinhole in the fuel fill neck(new fuel tank installed by Karl Chevrolet) and I replaced the hood latch under warranty. Karl Chevrolet supplied the latch and I installed it.

car looks solid to me. it just looks like the owner had good intentions to perhaps preserve the car in spots with surface rust and it just looks shoddy. Not a big deal to me. this wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.

I lived in Ankeny for 30 years, so I was at Karl’s way to often! I drove by on my way to work, and my way home, every day.

Seems like a decent car for the money. The spray paint on the underside doesn't really hurt anything, but it probably draws more bad attention to it than if it was just left alone.

I wouldn't think the underside was that bad if they didn't spray can it. Even on low mile cars, if left to be, a lot of the underside metal can get surface rust very quickly. But with the spray canning, the next owner now has to do some basic rust cleanup PLUS cleaning up the previous owners attempt at cleaning up.

It makes me wonder how the rest of the car was cared for....
