Ironically.....in references that other car.....this car ALSO has the special ordered grey/black interior with the gold appearance package, which wasn't a standard option.

Why is the spelling and grammar so terrible on these ads?

Some people just suck at writing. I worked with a guy, who when speaking, did so with eloquence and grace. But he could barely write a coherent email to save his life.

Then again, there are some people who are terrible at communicating period.

Who exactly is "5-speed Manuel"? Is Manny good with a stick? And they have courses in "collage", which you can take and graduate from?

For a good time, call Manuel at 555-0187. Ask for the 5-speed special. ;)

I like this car.. too bad there’s no interior shots of the “mint interior” or underside shots..

are those chrome door door edge guards? Yeesh..

For that price there better not be one ding anywhere on that body.. Even stored cars somehow get banged up and bumped into..

Especially with all the furniture stacked up all around it.... Hey, watch it with the chrome door edge comment, you might get an offended response.... Lotsa people, especially ones who have trouble spelling, like that "different" stuff....

You wouldn’t like me, or the cars in my garage then!

ha ha.. I don’t care what people do to their cars, but if you are asking $30k+ saying your car is a “mint collector car” and are asking those kinds of dollars you get to be judged.

Oh id probably like you and your cars sir. But the reason most of us buy these cars are to enjoy them. Id hate to grow old with a garage full of nice musclecars and get to where I could only look at them and wish I had driven them some. Gold and property are much more of an investment.

My cars were never purchased for an investment. I’ve just moved on to different hobbies, but the cars are there if I want to play with cars again.

I like this car quite a bit. Nicely optioned and just a bit unusual in the right way with the black custom cloth and a stick. Chrome lug nuts and door edge guards have to go. It's a shame it's an 88 and not an 89 so it has the old style rear calipers assuming it has discs. A number of people on the FB forums saying its worth sub-$20k, yet none of them can find a comparable iroc in the market with a stick, TPI, and similar mileage.

Nice-looking car, but for $32K, I'd need to see all the service records. Some peoples' idea of "lovingly maintained" is putting a blanket over the car in the garage and then forgetting about it.

Any car stored for 27 years is going to need a pile of parts and a lot of work before it is once again road-ready. The entire fuel system, brakes, cooling, tires, all fluids/filters, etc., etc., need to be addressed.

VERY true !! I just passed on a deal that would have got me a 27 year old car that had been sitting for 25 years with 17,000 miles on it.
The car would not start and had a TON of issues from improper storage. Just keeping it inside a garage does not cut it - if it was not properly
prepped for long term storage I guarantee it has a lot of issues that will need to be addressed

I have seen this car in person.....a long, long time ago. He brought it in an enclosed trailer to a Ja-Mar cruise in Ft. Dodge, Iowa back like 15- 20 years ago. I'd love to see it again!

You have a good memory!! I’m guessing that was 1993-1994, somewhere in there. The Dealer in Fort Dodge let me use a new Featherlite enclosed trailer and a Suburban to haul it up there. Our Camaro Club was in a parade that day or the day after also.

Bring it this way again! The chevy dealer at the time (Clement) was owned by Larry Clement.....who also had an ownership interest in Featherlight trailers.

I cant believe it was THAT long ago. I graduated from high school in 1994, so it's been a while, lol

Yeah that Larry Clement also owned an ARCA race team..... I wonder what ever happened to that guy..

For someone to ask this kind of money for something that has not run in 25 yrs or more is crazy! I think the seller is looking for a "Wayne Carini" impersonator who thinks this is a Stuz in disguise!
