Kind of cool. I don't know about the 360* rub strips, though.

T-tops are unusual for an Iron Duke car. I notice no t-top bag or hooks.

I would like to have it. Need an Iron Duke engine anyway for another project.

Car's and Concepts.

Needs to be gutted, painted a less silly color, and stuffed with something that puts out at least 300hp. Until then it's a shiny, sporty looking S10 run-about. Poor car looks like how it feels when the DDS tells you it's time for a root canal. Grandma's Camaro. The training-wheel bump strips really drive home the senior citizen curb appeal. Like a kid on a bike wearing a helmet in 1984.

Kill it with LS swap fire.

Why is it no one ever LS swaps a car like this that REALLY NEEDS an LS swap? Hmm.

Pretty cool to see one in decent shape!

Yeah the wraparound molding is pretty weird..

T-Tops look pretty good if they are not factory.. would be cool to see what they look like off and if it’s rusty on the sills..

I agree it would be cool to see a base Camaro SC with an LS with nice wheels and paint.. They can be muscular looking if done right..

Gross. Hard to believe that someone walked in to a GM dealer back in the day and in a sea of Z28's and T/A's, pointed and said "I want THAT one!", and never got bored of it for 35 years.

Also, here's my vote for a Citation forum. Tell me that thing wouldn't be kind of neat with an LS, 2 door hardtop conversion, and some torque thrusts. That would be the car to have once your 6 DUI's clear and you get your license back

Regarding Citations, I had one. An '80 Club coupe. It was a strippo. Poverty caps, bench seat, no options, except a 2.8L V6 and 4 speed. Ballsiest powertrain in the lightest body. Recurved the distributor, (anyone remember doing that), bumped the timing and had a new exhaust bent up, sans cat. That sucker flew and could chirp third.

Bought it when it was a year old. My dad gave me a bank check for $5K. I got into a disagreement with the Chevy dealer, who were dicks and apparently in all the commotion, never cashed the check. Twenty or so years later, my sister saw my dad's name on one of those missing funds lists. He went in and collected his $5K.

Free Citation!

Even has the upgraded 5 speed manual Trans!!!

No offense to anyone out there, but the 4 Cyl is the embarrassment of the 3rd gen, and it is what gets 3rd gens on those "worst cars ever" lists. It should have never been offered. :2cents:

Chazman is correct, it had to do with CAFE Fleet emissions garbage... Not sure how it worked, but it was a bad idea... like every other Government program, the road of good intentions leads to misery and dismemberment.
