1988 Formula 350 3k miles

Have you guys seen this one yet.. looks like it could be pretty nice.

Would like to see what the underside looks like..

From ad:

THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 3,014 MILE 1988 PONTIAC FIREBIRD FORMULA-350 THAT WAS PURCHASED NEW AT CERAMI PONTIAC CORP. IN N.J. ON 5/1/1988. THE FIRST OWNER BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE NEW AND PARKED IT THE GARAGE. WHEN THE FAMILY MECHANIC REFUSED TO FIX HIS 1994 BUICK LESABRE, HE STARTED TO USE THE VEHICLE VERY LITTLE ALMOST 20 YEARS LATER. HE HAD PASSED AWAY AND LEFT THIS BEAUTIFUL VEHICLE TO HIS BROTHER WHICH WAS THE 2ND OWNER. 100% ORIGINAL VEHICLE, JUST AS IF IT WAS KEPT IN A TIME CAPSULE. ORIGINAL GOOD YEAR GATORBACK TIRES. PRESENT OWNER, PATS AUTO SALES HAS OWNED THIS VEHICLE AND KEPT AGAIN IN GARAGE, NOT ALLOWING TO PUT ON MILES. THIS IS PART OF THE OWNER'S OWN PERSONAL CAR COLLECTION AND HAS DECIDED TO SELL AND LET THE NEXT OWNER ENJOY THE RIDE! THIS VEHICLE HAS THE ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN FOR A VEHICLE, AND ORIGINAL STICKER. FOR MORE INFORMATION AND ANY QUESTIONS, DIRECTLY CONTACT PHIL

Beautiful!

Is that what the original hood pads looked like for this hood? Looks very flat and generic, like the replacements do.

I was gonna say the hood liner looks too new and cut into a perfect pattern...

I wonder if mice tore up the original like they did mine.. A car sits that long and stuff happens..

Looks really nice and I don’t disagree on the price unless I found something wrong when I saw it in person..

The fold creases in the hood liner give it away as a repro. The real thing was molded to shape. That repro is also missing the cutouts for the cowl induction air box anchor and another cutaway at the front on the passenger's side.

Here's the real thing...

Wow.. that one looks mint! Even on low low mile cars the original hood liners usually look dusty, old and ratty..

I kind of knew, but didn't want to be presumptuous.

Guess I should buy that badboy and put on one of my NOS hood blankets.

I love the two-tone Formulas. I'd like to own this one.

Something is not right with that car. Someone added the hood scoop 5.7 Liter F.I decal which was not introduced by GM until 1991... Then the hood blanket is obviously not correct.

Beautiful car, but not "all original"

Everything else looks right however

wow. I remember the days when these babies would be sitting on Pontiac lots and in show rooms. Amazing to see it so new all these years later.
