need rpo codes

I have a 88 formula that the interior and engine, engine harness and ECM were gone when I got it. I hear if I have the vin I may be able to get the rpo's. It's a hardtop with the ws6.

Unless the car is an export, the only option is to order a copy of the invoice from GM Archive. The invoice will not contain every RPO code.

Go ahead a give us the VIN, here or to me in PM, and I'll check but it's likely not going to be available otherwise.

I will see what happens. What I know it's a 5.7 low option formula. the light blue type. 3.27 posi ws6. Manual windows. I think the interior was gray. There was a few plastic piece in it. Had cruise control. A/c. The wheels on it were the GTA type. If it had 16 in 20 slot formula type. They were gone. Mileage shows 101k. No rust. Very few issues over all

All Formulas came standard with WS6. The "GTA" PW7 wheels was not available on the Formula in 1988. The 5.7 was optional on the Formula and not standard.

Vin number shows it to be a 5.7 unless I got something wrong. 1g2fs2189jl226840

Eighth digit is a 8. I think 5.0 and 2.8 have a letter or different number don't they

Yes. My comment was that the Formula's base engine was not the 5.7. The 5.7 was optional. Therefore, that is an option that was ordered on the car you're inquiring about.
