Hmm, any idea what year that 145 MPH cluster came out of? Seeing the cable drive socket for the speedo back there, I'm thinking it's pre-91?

Came out of an 88 iroc. Guage cluster is direct plug in for 82-89. 90-92 had a different style dash and a completely different cluster setup and yes they swapped to an electronic speedo as well with the cluster change.

main thing holding it in once all your front facing screws are out is the speedo cable attached to the back of the speedometer, and there was a few screws around the steering column holding it to the trim.

It was my spare cluster, everything works in it.

Re: V6 6k RPM Camaro Tach

Hey, just a heads up for you guys. The V6 tach actually WILL work on a V8 car if you happen to have a V8 tach to steal the circuit board from. I had a 5.5K redline V8 tach in my 89 Camaro, and I wanted to have the 6K redline, and all I had to do was take the circuit board off the back of the V8 tach and put it on the V6 tach, and it now works perfect with my 350. So it's easy to have a factory 6K redline tach in a V8 car. Another nice feature with the V6 tach is the oil pressure gauge reads all the way to 80 psi instead of 60 psi. I have a high volume/high pressure oil pump in my 350 and it actually pegs out the 80 psi gauge when it's cold! Drops to around 60-70 psi when warmed up, so the 80 psi gauge comes in handy!
