Problem with my dash lights (84 Camaro)

While replacing my normal dash lights in my 1984 Camaro (going from normal bulbs to dark blue), I broke a bulb while trying to remove it. ( I declined to take the whole gauge cluster out, and was removing the bulbs with a pair of pliers. Not a good idea in hindsight.) it was still in its green circuit and I accidentally touched the middle of the broken bulb with the metal of the pliers. All my dash lights flashed and smoke came out of the right side of the gauge cluster. My first thought was that I fried the motherboard because of the smell. I replaced the whole motherboard with a brand new one yesterday and the only thing that works now is my fasten belt light and my right blinker light. None of my other lights work. I checked and even replaced all of my fuses with no luck. My heater lights work, and my every other electric thing in my car works. Except for two of my dash lights, none of them work. Any ideas on what I could've done to it? I'm baffled. Thanks!

My bright light indicator now works, as well. That makes only 3 lights on my whole dash that work. :/
