Re: Original Gauges Are Shot! I don't know that our cars have terrible gauges. Mine have always worked well. I've had to use graphite on the speedo cable once or twice, but car IS almost 30 years old. ...tach was always pretty close, albeit not a precision instrument. Regardless, nothing wrong with aftermarket. Covan's makes a panel, either blank or with gauges. Lots of guys making their own. It's kinda one of those things where if ya can't dig in there and figure it out (physically, not electronically) then I'm not sure a picture is gonna help. Making them fit is the easy part. The electrical isn't too bad either, but it's less intuitive than simply cutting a hole in a plastic overlay. |
