Re-webbing seat belts

Has anyone had their seat-belts re-webbed? I have brand new receivers front and rear and my seat belts work fine they are just sun faded. I would like to find close to factory color but since nothing is factory in my car a little variance is ok. I found one local shop that I've emailed and one online that was reasonable (as these things go). Just curious if there are any recomendations...

The only one I've ever heard of is Ssnake Oyl. Are they the online company you approached?

Re: Re-webbing seat belts

I saw a few, I'm hoping the local shop I found does these cars, I don't like the idea of sending them off to an unknown company... If it comes to that I'll probably grab a set from junkyard and send them off. Unless there is a company others have used that have a known track record.

Mine are ok they are just sun faded.

Re: Re-webbing seat belts

Safety Restore is well known. They reset airbag modules and seatbelts from newer cars. (In newer cars, seatbelts must be replaced or reset in airbag deployment crashes) Send them off and they send them back within one day of receipt with a warranty. Haven’t tried the rewebbing, but have used the other services. Located in MA, can give them a call if curious.

Re: Re-webbing seat belts

any reason to just not buy NOS ones instead? I just bought new, gray NOS seatbelts in the sealed GM boxes for $138 each from one of the well known parts suppliers. I don't think you could rebuild and re-web them for less? Like you, mine were sun faded, a bit dirty and the retractors were weak. At the price I thought I better get them while you can still get them relatively inexpensively. PM me if you can't find them
