Interior screws?

Hi all. I was trying to figure out what the little screws that hold everything on are called? Theyre holding on the bezels for the door, the heater, the radio, the shifter thing... anyone know know what theyre called or can send me an amazon link to them? Most of mine are super stripped so Id like to get them replaced. Thanks!

Re: Interior screws?

They're a T15 Torx drive screw. 1/2 of them aren't even actually screws, they're molded into the plastic parts.

Sometimes you can tell the fake screws by looking closely. Others you can tap on them and listen for a metal or plastic sound, or test with a small magnet. Some of the real screws are only long enough to thread into the plastic and don't actually retain the plastic, like the top left corner screw above the radio.

I bought mine from Camaro Central, though you might find them cheaper elsewhere.

if you need some, PM me. I've acquired several dozen extra over the years pulling parts...I tend to drop every screw, bolt and nut into my back when I'm at the yard.

Won't charge you anything except shipping.

Go in to a struggling Ace Hardware that is family owned and proud of their selection of screws.
Plop a few screws on the counter and say, "I need a bunch of these thing-ies".
Leave the store and walk out with a bunch of those thing-ies.

Fiero's are a great source of these screws, and they are usually ignored in the local junk yards.

The Fiero radio brackets are also the same as Firebird's for certain years

I am so guilty of filling my pockets with these screws when I go to the local yards, but you have to keep that a secret!
