Restoring Tan Interior for 85 Trans Am
 

Looking to finish redoing my tan interior for my 85 and have done a lot of searching without much luck. My first problem is trying to find a close match paint for redoing my faded beat up plastic panels. They were 85-87 saddle tan, has anyone had good luck with a color that is extrenely close to original?

Also looking for a headliner kit through Hawks or StockInteriors, does anyone have experience they can offer on quality and overall color match? The color Im looking at is the A1755 Saddle has anyone used this particular color in a saddle interior?

As for paint, I can't offer a color name, but I can speak very highly for SEM brand paint. As with all painting, follow the prep instructions. ....as for Hawk's, if you tell them your year/color, they should know what the proper material color is, and typically they're very happy to send out a sample or two.

I was looking on Hawks website and came across the SEM paint they sell, according to their recommendation SEM 15093 Light Buckskin is the closest match to Lt Saddle Tan, maybe Ill buy a single can to see
