Where to Buy Sail Panel Clips

Does anybody know where to buy sail panel clips? The replacement sail panels I bought don’t have any installed and I’m trying to avoid using Velcro tape.

Are you talking about the speaker covers?

If your Chevy dealer can't get them for you, try : www.autobodytoolmart.com, under clips/fasteners.

Thank you for the suggestions. No luck with the website but I’ll definitely swing by the local dealership and see if they can’t find some.

And, sorry, yes I was referring to the metal clips that mount to the back of the speaker covers that slide into the plastic interior panel.

Didn’t even think about a junkyard. Great idea, thank you.

Those sail panel backings look like they’re plastic. I’ve never seen that. My ‘84 TA has some kind of pressboard / fiberboard backings and the clips are separate metal pieces.

Early cars were masonite with metal clips bonded in place. Later cars were plastic with the clips molded in. Not sure what year they switched over - 88, 89, 90, somewhere in there.

Heres a original speaker cover off my 84:
It is cardboard with metal clips.
(Prob. the same crummy cardboard they used in the headliner!)

Here are the used fleabay covers I bought:

I wonder what the used fleabay covers I bought have on them?
Can't really see the "hooks" clearly so dont know if they are metal or molded in plastic.

I got the fleabay used covers!
The fabric is in great shape.
YES, the "clips" are moulded in the plastic backs like seen in the pic.
Only the coat hanger/screw assem. secures the panel to the B pillar.
