Anyone This this is a FAIR Trade??????SUGGESTIONS PLEASE!

Well one of my old bosses has an 85 Malcolm Connors edition corvette, it is automatic has a GM crate motor with full roller rockers, brand new full stock exhaust, most of the rest is stock on the car. i know the car is kind of rough it needs hood cables and some interior work, the leather is in poor condition but the rest of it isnt too bad. condisering they made 20 manual and 40 automatic of these edition corvettes. this car is 1 of 40 so i am not sure if i should get it i need money quick and i think it would be faster to sell a fairly stock corvette than a modified camaro.

I am asking $6000 for my car and he would like to trade straight up. but i know he was looking to sell his car for $5000 locally.

What do you guys think???
this is my car.

Go to a vette forum and ask what the value of it is in its current shape vs fixed.

That looks like a nice Camaro you got there. If you really want suggestions on whether or not it is a good trade, you should probably post some pics of the vette.

Sorry, this really has nothing to do with Appearance or Detailing, PM me if you have any questions.

Vettes have a great resale value if you're willing to spend the money and time on it to get it right. Your car is beautiful. I see you noted some problems with your car in the classified ad -- but you haven't posted pictures, mileage or overall condition of the Corvette. Is it driveable, are all the mechanicals in good shape? One of 40, I think it would be a good deal -- but then again, I'd love to have a Vette, so....

The corvette is on the road right now. but since this car is one of 40 if i remember correctly it still doesnt make the value much higher for the fact that it was just the name of the dealership that sold the car and they had better gears(3.07's vs 2.73's) and a few little stlying features and color combination ect. but that doesnt make the value skyrocket people who would want the car would probably be someone in hemmings or something similar to that who wants a car exactly like that one. otherwise i think it would be hard to get any kind of money out of it.
